Our Mambo Legacy
Born in the heart of New York City during the 1970s, New York Style Mambo known globally as "On2" was pioneered by the Iconic Eddie Torres, recognized worldwide as The Mambo King.
In collaboration with the Legendary Tito Puente for over two decades, Eddie revolutionized the dance by formalizing the Mambo Syllabus, introducing music theory for dancers, and shaping the modern Mambo technique. His vision and technique became the blueprint for generations of dancers and teachers across the globe.

Carrying the torch of the Torres Dynasty, Eddie Torres Jr. and Princess Serrano are a dynamic force shaping the future of Mambo. With electrifying chemistry and a deep-rooted connection to the original New York style, they travel the globe preserving and evolving the legacy of Latin dance.
Their artistry has been showcased on some of the world’s biggest stages - from Madison Square Garden to Dancing with the Stars, Access Hollywood, and multiple major film appearances. They served as the official Latin choreographers for the Warner Bros. film “In The Heights” and most recently choreographed for Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming movie musical “Kiss of the Spider Woman”.
