Our Mambo Legacy

New York Style Mambo also known as "On2" was created and developed in the 1970's by the one and only Mambo King, Eddie Torres. He worked alongside Tito Puente for 21 years, created the New York ON2 syllabus, implemented music theory into Mambo for dancers, and built the foundation for what the Mambo industry has become today. Eddie's signature style and technique has now become a worldwide phenomenon. 

The Legacy Continues

Eddie Torres Jr. & Princess Serrano are an exciting, dynamic duo. They are continuing the Family Legacy, as they travel the world sharing their knowledge and passion for this art form. Highlights of their career include performances at the Madison Square Garden, Dancing with the Stars, Access Hollywood, and are featured in several films. They are the Latin Choreographers of the Warner Bros movie "In The Heights" and recently choreographed for Jennifer Lopez's 
new movie musical "Kiss Of The Spider Woman"

  • We highly recommend bringing a pair of dance shoes and comfortable clothes to sweat in. It’s always good to have a towel, hand sanitzer, good hygiene, etc. Feel free to ask us for any any advice on where to buy dance shoes.

  • No partner required. Simply bring your good energy and get ready to have fun!

  • No - Walk-ins are welcomed, as cash is our preferred payment method. However if you would like to reserve in advance, you can pay by debit/credit card which will incur an additional card fee.

  • Yes, you can re-schedule your missed class within 1 month of the missed date at no extra charge. If you need assistance, let us know and we will be more than happy to help you.

  • Yes, we offer an online membership which includes live streaming access to all New York classes, Pre-recorded classes, a community group chat for all members + more.
